Novell unveils new version of Identity Manager Posted: 21 May 2010 09:00 AM PDT Last week Novell brought BrainShare back to Europe after a four year absence. But the gathering in Amsterdam almost didn't happen, as the Icelandic ash cloud closed Amsterdam's Schiphol airport two days before the conference was to begin. I heard lots of stories about people scrambling for ways to get to the city. But it did get going on time and, I'm really happy to say, it looks like Novell is back. |
Code Security: MidAmerican Energy's top priority Posted: 21 May 2010 09:00 AM PDT MidAmerican Energy Company is the largest utility in Iowa, strategically located in the middle of several major markets in the Midwest, providing service to more than 725,000 electric customers and more than 707,000 natural gas customers in a 10,600 square-mile area from Sioux Falls, S.D., to the Quad Cities area of Iowa and Illinois. This makes it a tempting target for an attacker bent on striking a blow to critical infrastructure. |

I've been evaluating these products in late prerelease form, and I'll share my impressions and what I've discovered here. |
